Mouth Pee

I got up early to make breakfast and lunch for David. Qtimothy was sleeping soundly during this time. He usually wakes up, but today he slept to 8:00.

I opened the curtains to enjoy the sunrise.   I hear a sweet voice crying Shawna, Shawna. The call of concern, fear, and immeidiacy all wrapped into one. Shawnaaaaaaa!

I walk over to the base of the stairs and here is my sweet child with tears in his eyes.  "Sweetie what's wrong?"

"There is pee on my bed!" In a most unhappy voice.
"I said you wet the bed?"  In a surprised voice as bed wetting is not an issue. He has wet the bed 5 times total in his life.

"Not that kind of pee- mouth pee!" He replied in a disgusted tone

I gently said "that is not pee it is drool."

Calmed down and replaced the pillow case, life is good.

Oh No your bed took my Pajamas

I woke up early this morning, took a shower, and enjoyed some time alone.  Soon there was a sweet voice, "mom", "mom".  Timothy crawls in bed with us most every night.  It is a wonderful feeling to have the entire family snuggle together in the morning. (dog included).  Since I left everyone asleep it threw off the snuggles.  I was sitting on the couch, Timothy came down the stairs and said, mom, mom, I have to be naked (which means he was wearing socks and underwear) for a few minutes my cozy pajamas are stuck on your bed.  He was very serious and not enjoying the situation much.  I headed upstairs. His cozy pajamas (which are fuzzy footed pajamas) were in the bed next to David and stuck under Andy (the dog).  Apparently he tried to move and one of his feet moved out of the footed area of the pajamas and he ended up with 2 feet in the same leg of the PJs. Andy was laying on the loose part of his pajamas with his head.  Timothy fixed the problem by taking off his PJs.  He tries to keep on his cozy pajamas as long as possible.  He believes that he should wear footed pajamas all the time.    I took the opportunity to get him dressed for the day.  At this time Andy gets off the bed and follows us downstairs.  Timothy turned and looked at Andy.  He began to lecture/ complain to him that he held on the his cozy pajamas too tight and now he has on pant.  "do you want pants?"  Andy just looks at him.  Timothy raised his voice a tad and says to Andy in the firm voice "fiends don't make other friends naked and take their cozy pajamas".

Timothy came up to me and informed me that Andy needs a time out for not being a good friend.  Then he proceeded to tell me the entire story about how his pajamas got stuck.  Disgusted he went to the couch sat down and said "I need a minute"

The awesomeness of magnets

Timothy is learning about magnets.

I gave him some magnets and had him put them around the house to see what they stuck too.  He got them all placed, but one.  He began to cry!  Such a fun activity should not bring tears. I asked him "what is wrong?"  He responded by saying: "I tried to stick it to Andy (his beloved dog) and it won't stick.  Andy is awesome, the magnets are broken. They only stick to awesome things!"  I reviewed that magnets stick to metal objects, but not all metal.  Andy is not metal.  He yells-"Andy is awesome". He wraps his body around Andy in an embrace hug of protection.  He says "I don't want the magnets as they are not nice to Andy."  I hugged him and said "we will try again later."  I get not farther than the stairs and he says it works it works! Andy is awesome too!  The magnetic is hanging off his collar. There is an adjustment bracket and it was sticking to it.

Lesson totally lost today!   So today magnets are for awesome things!

Found them on:
Door knob
Refrigerator
Window sill
His white erase board
A toy jeep
A Thomas the train (end magnet)
The dog.
His tricycle (which he plays on in the basement for winter)
The handle where the remotes are kept
Another magnet.
